SCHAUENBURG Industrietechnik GmbH, headquartered in Nuremberg, manufactures sealing technology, elastomer and plastic products, rubber molded parts, hose technology and profile technology for industry. At the Augsburg site – a plant since 2024 and successor to JURIMA Dichtungen GmbH – the focus is on sealing technology made from elastomers and plastics: flat gaskets, gasket sheets, rubber seals and plastic parts from around 5,000 items, also as semi-finished stock (sheet, rod and hollow bar material). Production includes die-cutting, plotting, cutting and waterjet cutting, sawing, turning and milling through to injection molding, compression molding and vacuum forming; in addition, freely applied and foamed sealing systems made of polyurethane, PVC and silicone are produced. The company also offers engineering, development and design, prototyping, series production, assemblies and special solutions as well as services such as hose testing and industrial cleaning. Customers come from, among others, metallurgy and smelting technology, rail vehicle technology, energy technology, agricultural technology as well as construction and commercial vehicle manufacturing.
