Scheidt Maschinen- und Eisen GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned company based in Berlin since 1912 and a specialist dealer for workshop equipment, machine tools and workshop supplies. The sales program includes metal-cutting machines (lathes, drilling, milling and sawing machines from manufacturers such as Weiler, Pinacho, KUNZMANN, MAXION and Optimum), cutting and forming machines for sheet metal working (including press brakes, guillotine shears, swivel bending machines and plate bending machines from SafanDarley, HM Machinery and Stückmann-Hillen) as well as crane systems and hoists, office, warehouse and archive equipment. In addition, the company offers comprehensive after-sales service with its own service technicians and fitters: fault rectification, repairs, installation, commissioning and training. In the inspection area, UVV (accident prevention) inspections of machine tools, cranes and hoists, DGUV-V3 inspections, rack inspections in accordance with DIN EN 15635 and safety inspections of ladders and steps are carried out. Its own fleet of vehicles, extensive warehousing with a spare parts service in Berlin-Charlottenburg, the purchase of used machines and field sales consulting round off the offering.
