Scheidweg-Garage AG is a car garage headquartered at Gontenstrasse 1 in Appenzell. From a small business, the company has developed over more than 60 years into the largest car garage in the Appenzellerland. Its range of services includes the sale of new and pre-owned vehicles as a contract partner of the brands Audi, Škoda, Volkswagen and VW Commercial Vehicles, workshop and service work for all makes, bodywork and panel beating, painting in its own paint booth, ceramic coating, wheel rim repair as well as a wheel center with a tyre hotel. As an official ABT base, the garage also offers vehicle refinement, from performance enhancement to sports wheels and aerodynamics to individual interiors. Around 50 employees also take care of e-mobility, fleet solutions, a 24/7 breakdown service (Totalmobil), collection and delivery service throughout Eastern Switzerland, a petrol station shop and a car wash. The company trains apprentices and cooperates with its sister companies Garage Ebneter (Bühler) and Garage Wildermuth (Herisau).
