About Scheinhardt
Scheinhardt is an owner-managed otoplastics laboratory in Kreuztal in the Siegerland region that has been manufacturing products related to hearing for over 25 years. The portfolio includes custom-made earmolds for hearing aid acousticians, custom hearing protection for work, music and leisure, as well as in-ear monitoring systems for musicians. In manufacturing, the company combines modern 3D technology – 3D scanners for digitizing ear impressions, DLP 3D printing, LPBF 3D printing with titanium and CNC milling – with skilled manual work such as drilling, grinding, engraving, polishing and lacquering. Biocompatible, medically certified materials are used: cast and printed acrylic, the thermoplastic elastomer THERMOtec, titanium and silicone in three hardness levels. All impression data is captured digitally and archived for 24 months, which enables fast re-manufacturing. Customers are primarily hearing care professionals, musicians and companies with noise protection needs; the EASY ORDER ordering platform is available to partner acousticians.

Materials & Processes
Acrylic (cast)
Cast acrylic cured under pressure polymerization, machined by CNC milling, highly shatter-resistant and available in many colors.
Acrylic LP (printed)
Light-curing polymer produced by DLP 3D printing with a smooth, homogeneous surface and tested biocompatibility.
THERMOtec (thermoelastic, Castform)
Becomes soft at body temperature, provides good sealing and a comfortable fit, suitable for allergy sufferers.
Titanium (biocompatible)
Manufactured by LPBF 3D printing, extremely shatter-resistant and lightweight, allowing filigree earmolds even for narrow ear canals.
Silicone (25, 40 and 60 Shore)
Elastomeric material with high wearing comfort, standard for in-ear monitoring, hearing protection and swim protection, available in many colors.
