About SCHERDEL

SCHERDEL GmbH is a family-owned company headquartered in Marktredwitz (Bavaria) and has been processing metallic wire and strip since 1889. The group comprises 34 sites worldwide in 11 countries with around 6,800 employees and a consolidated revenue of approximately €850 million. Around 6 billion technical springs, stamped and bent parts, and assemblies are manufactured annually – from valve, compression, extension, torsion and spiral springs to stamped-bent technology and fine blanking, through to welded and assembly components as well as plastic-metal composites in insert and outsert injection molding. Further pillars are surface technology, laser- and resistance-welded structures, flexible copper busbars for e-mobility, and the company's own machine, tool and systems engineering (including portal milling machines of the ECO, ARTIS and VISION series). Main customers come from the automotive, e-mobility, medical technology, electrical and energy technology, and machine and plant engineering sectors; with over 100 years of supplier experience, SCHERDEL products are installed in around 80% of all passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
