About scherrer.tec
scherrer.tec GmbH is a company founded in 2021 in Chur specializing in building automation and digital building management. The team of around three employees plans, implements, monitors and maintains automation solutions for technical building systems – from technical consulting and planning through commissioning, remote monitoring and maintenance. As its technological basis, the company relies on the open building automation and management system Emalytics with Building IoT controllers, which integrates numerous bus protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, KNX IP, M-Bus, DALI and OPC UA. Via the central system, all trades are measured, controlled, regulated and monitored; an integrated energy management system automatically records and evaluates operational and energy data and supports the reduction of energy costs and CO2 emissions. Areas of application include industry, schools, hospitals, laboratories and pharmaceutical facilities, museums, hotels, commercial and office buildings, residential buildings, wellness/bathing facilities as well as retirement and senior care centers. Reference projects include the building automation of the AREON event hall in Chur with central control, climate regulation and automatic alerting.
