About SCHiCK
The SCHiCK Unternehmensgruppe is a construction company founded in 1904, headquartered in Bad Kissingen and part of the Austrian HABAU GROUP since 2023. In four companies – Anton Schick GmbH, Burger Bau GmbH, Schick Industriebau GmbH and Hans Holzner Baugesellschaft mbH – the group combines the fields of building construction, precast concrete construction, civil engineering and bridge construction. In its own precast concrete plants in Bad Kissingen, Meiningen and Hanau, reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete precast elements such as columns, downstand beams, slabs, roof trusses, walls, sandwich panels, facade panels made of architectural concrete, stairs and balcony slabs are produced and erected with the company's own installation team and truck cranes. The company's own concrete technologists develop the concrete mix designs, including exposed concrete up to SB4 and watertight concrete (WU concrete); a building materials recycling centre produces RC concrete. More than 570 employees realise projects nationwide for industry, retail, logistics, healthcare, education and infrastructure, including Terminal 3 of Frankfurt Airport and recurring precast projects for DB Schenker, Hermes and DHL.

Materials & Processes
Reinforced concrete
Reinforced concrete for columns, walls, slabs, roof trusses and stair precast elements.
Prestressed concrete
Prestressed precast elements for downstand beams, roof trusses and hollow-core slab floors.
Architectural concrete
Coloured, surface-finished concrete for facade panels and special components.
Exposed concrete up to SB4
Requirements for exposed concrete qualities, realised through own concrete technology.
WU concrete (watertight concrete)
For WU base slabs up to 2.50 m thickness and waterproof structures.
RC concrete (recycled concrete)
Concrete made from recycled materials, produced in the building materials recycling centre.
Roller-compacted concrete
Used for base slabs, e.g. in the TRIPS production hall.
Steel / steel superstructure
Welded steel superstructures for bridges, e.g. 130 t for the A7.
Asphalt
For traffic and parking areas in civil and road engineering.
Bentonite gravel
Special building material in geotechnical engineering, produced on site in the mobile mixing plant.
