About SCHICO
SCHICO Ing.-Büro GmbH was founded in Munich in 1976 and specializes in sterile apparatus engineering for chemical, pharmaceutical and biomedical applications. Its core product is the in-house developed M2000 microbe sampler, a portable measuring system for detecting microorganisms in compressed gases using the membrane filter method in accordance with ISO 14698, whose manufacture, distribution and annual aftercare (calibration and function test) are carried out by the company. Another in-house development is the M2000DUO, which fills two different medical gases into a syringe with high precision and sterility. Previously, SCHICO developed the ZYCLODEST thermal water distillation systems and the ZYCLODAMPF pure steam generators; around 100 systems of this type were delivered worldwide, but the plant business was divested. Today, the company works in small-scale apparatus construction for medical-pharmaceutical purposes at its Munich location.

M2000 Microbe Sampler
Portable measuring system for detecting microorganisms in compressed gases using the membrane filter method, in accordance with ISO 14698, with German Patent No. 198 12 551.
M2000DUO Microbe Sampler
Fills two different medical gases, e.g. oxygen and carbon dioxide, into a syringe with high precision and sterility.
Thermal Water Distillation System
Distillation system with a second circuit, separate from the distillate, for the heat pump compressor.
Pure Steam Generator
In-house development for pure steam generation for pharmaceutical applications.
Autoclavable Part, Pall-Gelmann Type
Accessory part for holding the membrane filter, sterilized in the autoclave at 121 °C for 20 minutes before each measurement.
Membrane Filter Method
Gas testing at the pressure at which the gas is used in production; slow pressure release protects the cell membranes.
