About Schiedel
Schiedel is a European provider of flue gas and chimney systems headquartered in Munich with its group headquarters in Nussbach (Austria). The company manufactures ceramic chimney systems with ceramic inner liner, insulation and block stone, stainless steel chimney systems (single- and double-walled as well as flexible systems) and pumice systems. The portfolio is complemented by fireplace and stove insert systems (KINGFIRE, SIRIUS), shaft-integrated ventilation systems with heat recovery (AERA) as well as fine dust filters. Manufacturing processes include isostatic pressing of monolithic moulded parts and flue pipes as well as lightweight concrete production of chimney blocks. Schiedel supplies residential construction, commercial and industrial construction as well as industrial plant engineering with technical consulting, cross-section calculations, engineering (Schiedel Center of Engineering), logistics directly to the construction site and after-sales services such as inspections and sound measurements. The group employs around 1,400 staff at 26 production sites in 26 countries and generated annual revenue of approx. €200 million in 2018.
