SCHIEDERWERK GmbH has been developing and producing custom power electronics at its Nuremberg site for over 100 years. The portfolio includes AC/DC converters, DC/DC converters, AC/AC converters, UPS systems and AC/DC high-voltage power supplies for generating and controlling high voltages. With the Virtual Power Design Platform, the company combines pre-engineered, EN-60601-certifiable standard modules with complex custom circuits. Customers come from medical technology, industry including UV and IR applications, sports venue and large-area lighting, stage and studio lighting, telecommunications, the semiconductor and display industries, as well as inspection and test systems and material processing. Design, development and production all take place under one roof at the same location; more than 200 employees support the worldwide marketing of the solutions.
