About Schiess Recycling
Schiess Recycling AG operates a waste disposal yard in Niederuzwil and has been active as a specialist recycling company since 1957. The company handles the environmentally sound collection, disposal and processing of all materials – from iron, steel and non-ferrous metals to construction rubble, waste wood, plastic, paper, cardboard and glass waste, as well as used tyres, end-of-life vehicles, cables and electrical appliances. The offering includes a container and skip service in all sizes (containers, skip containers, boxes, barrels, mesh pallets) as well as self-delivery of recyclable materials and waste, including hazardous waste. For industry and trade, comprehensive disposal concepts, waste balances with VeVA code consulting, statistical evaluations and advice on internal waste logistics are offered; a collection service rounds out the offering. The company is led by Marco Schiess in the third generation and, with a modern, energy-efficient vehicle fleet (including 4-axle trucks and a crane vehicle for special assignments), serves the cantons of St. Gallen and Thurgau.
