About Schlossbrauerei Fuchsberg
The Schlossbrauerei Fuchsberg is a beer brewery in the village of Fuchsberg, part of the municipality of Teunz in the Upper Palatinate. The castle brewery was first documented in 1663; since 1870 it has been owned by the Vogl family and is continued in this tradition. Beer is brewed in the traditional way with modern technology that enables uniform and environmentally friendly production. The raw material base consists of Wildensteiner Felsquellwasser spring water, exclusively domestic quality brewing barley and single-variety hops. The process includes brewing in open fermentation tanks with CO2 extraction as well as bottling in crown-cork bottles. The product range includes the beers Urhell, Pilsner Premium, Pils, Leichte Weisse, Weisse, Radler and St. Jakobus as well as strong beers aged in barrique oak barrels such as 1663 Eik, 1663 Keltik, 1663 Matador, 1663 Tanasi and 1663 Sherish. The brewery offers home delivery, an online shop and tours of the production facility, and is a member of Brauring, a cooperation of private breweries from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
