About Schlossbrauerei Naabeck
Schlossbrauerei Naabeck GmbH & Co. KG is a traditional brewery located at Naabeck Castle in Schwandorf (Upper Palatinate, Bavaria). The brewing rights were granted in 1620, and since 1919 the Rasel family has run the castle estate with its brewery in the third generation. Beers brewed include Naabecker Bier and, since the takeover of the Weissbierbrauerei Plank in Wiefelsdorf (1993), the Juraweizen. The raw materials used are selected, GMO-free ingredients from the region and soft, low-salt rock spring water from the brewery's own springs. The beers are neither pasteurized nor flash-heated, and are bottled without preservatives and without pressure or heat treatment. The brewery supplies taverns throughout the Upper Palatinate; it also offers a home delivery service, brewery tours and a brewery festival.
