Schlumberger Nutzfahrzeug Technik GmbH & Co. KG operates a brand-independent commercial vehicle workshop in the Ulm-Nord industrial area, directly on the A8. The company was opened in September 2021 by cousins Michael and Robin Schlumberger as an extension of the Schlumberger Transporte workshop. Its range of services includes cross-brand overhaul, repair and maintenance of trailers, semi-trailers, trucks and omnibuses, electronics and diagnostics repairs, mechanical and hydraulic repairs, air conditioning service, tail lift service, accident repair as well as body repairs with painting. In addition, statutory and preventive inspections are offered, including the general inspection (HU), emissions inspection (AU), safety inspection (SP), tachograph inspection pursuant to § 57b StVZO as well as UVV inspections pursuant to DGUV Regulation 70 and BGG 945/BGR 500. For diagnostics, manufacturer systems such as Bosch KTS Truck, MAN-cats III, XENTRY Truck, Texa Axone Voice, ZF Testman and Knorr Bremse Neo are used; axle alignment is performed with the JOSAM cam-aligner camera technology. The family-run team also trains commercial vehicle mechatronics technicians.
