About the Schmid Mawera Group
The Schmid Mawera Group is a Swiss manufacturer and supplier of wood heating systems and heat pumps. Schmid AG energy solutions and Mawera GmbH have merged to form the Schmid Mawera Group. The company manufactures wood chip firing systems (35 kW to 13 MW), pellet firing systems (35 to 900 kW), log wood boilers (15 to 80 kW) as well as industrial large-scale heat pumps and, as a system integrator, combines these into hybrid energy centres. Efficiency-enhancing products such as active flue gas condensation with an absorption heat pump increase the heat extraction in biomass heating plants by 20 to 40%. Systems are planned, developed and produced in-house; a service network with high spare parts availability accompanies operation. Areas of application include the wood processing industry, district and local heating, commercial businesses, agriculture, hotels, nurseries, the food and pharmaceutical industries as well as public buildings.
