Schmidt Maschinenhandel is an owner-managed family business based in Riedstadt-Goddelau (Hesse) that has been active in the market for over 30 years and specialises in the distribution of power tools. Its product range includes nail guns, drills and drill/drivers, circular saws, timber construction machines such as chain saws, tenon cutters, chain mortisers, notching routers and beam planers, as well as special tools and timber joints. Products are supplied primarily from brands such as Paslode, Haubold, Makita, Mafell and Metabo. As a recognised Paslode and Haubold contract dealer, the company carries out repairs, maintenance and warranty processing in its own workshop and maintains an extensive spare parts inventory as well as a mobile field service. With a self-developed cordless gutter carrier inlet router based on Makita and Milwaukee, the company also offers its own product. Its target customers are primarily carpentry, timber construction and building trade businesses.
