The Schnaff Idea
Schnaff Privatbrauerei is a family business from Hückeswagen, run by the brothers Julian and Roman Wasserfuhr. The starting point of the founding was the two jazz musicians' concert activities, through which they got to know different countries, cultures and local specialties. In 2014 the journey began of learning the craft of beer brewing, accompanied by chefs, beer sommeliers, master brewers and entrepreneurs. The goal was to compose a beer that stands out in taste and flavor from conventional beer styles. The brewery brews its product itself using its own recipes and ingredients such as water, barley malt, wheat malt, hops and yeast. The range includes the Brown Ale Schnaff Siena and the American Pale Ale Schnaff – Das Jazz-Bier, which are sold through their own online shop.
