About schnittstellehamburg
schnittstellehamburg is a sole proprietorship founded in 2005 by Bettina Gritz in Hamburg-Eppendorf and offers services related to CAD pattern construction for the apparel industry. The service portfolio covers first pattern development, grading (also for made-to-measure tailoring), fit optimization after fittings, material-optimized marker lays as well as the digitization of pattern pieces using the Grafis add-on program PFP. The large-format plotting service draws patterns and marker lays up to 1.80 m wide on heat-seal paper (60 g/m²) as well as stencils on cardboard (180 g/m²), pre-cut. As a licensed distribution partner of Grafis Software from Viersen, the company represents Northern Germany: software licenses, upgrades, consulting and training (individual, corporate and on-demand training, also on site). In the open CAD workshop, pattern makers can rent Grafis workstations by the hour or by the day and work with professional support. The concept is based on the sharing principle: joint use of plotters and CAD licenses to lower the barrier to entry. Customers come from the apparel industry, fashion design, made-to-measure tailoring and tailoring shops.
