About Erdreich
Erdreich – Köstlichkeiten von der Alb is the brand of Schnitzler GbR, a family-run farm in St. Johann-Ohnastetten on the Swabian Alb. The farm operates on the principle of a circular economy: feed for poultry farming is produced on-site, and fertilization is done naturally with the farm's own manure. The focus is on regional production, sustainability and animal welfare. Products are sold exclusively directly – via the farm's own sales stand Eierhäusle in Ohnastetten, a vending machine, and through regional retailers, bakeries, butchers and gastronomy businesses in the Reutlingen, Münsingen and Bad Urach region. The range includes fresh eggs and colorful snack eggs, homemade pasta, flours, and fresh (seasonal) and dried garlic.
