About Schnorr Keramik

Schnorr Keramik GmbH manufactures handcrafted ceramic roof tiles, special formats and roof ornaments for pitched roofs at its Rheinzabern site, especially for listed and historic buildings. Based on submitted drawings or original tiles, faithful reproductions are created for churches, temples and other historic structures; to date more than 1,000 tile models with several hundred engobes and glazes have been produced. The product portfolio includes shaped tiles, ridge, hip and valley tiles, hip caps for roof pitches from 10° to 60°, ventilation solutions such as the Multilüfter (DN 125/DN 150 to DIN 1986-100), PV/solar passage tiles as well as bat and bird nesting tiles. Production is carried out by hand with great attention to detail, from one-off pieces to small series. The family business was founded in 1969 in Hatzenbühl, re-established as a GmbH in 1989 and since March 2025 has been continued under the umbrella of Dachkeramik Meyer-Holsen GmbH.
