Schöfmann Steuerungselektronik GmbH is a family-run company headquartered in Waakirchen, Upper Bavaria. Its core business is the design, development and production of controls for industrial gate systems. With the standard controls of the EWS series, the company offers solutions for all gate systems; in addition, custom developments are created according to specific customer requirements. The design of all controls focuses on easy installation, commissioning and maintenance, with the aim of making the work of gate installers and tradespeople easier. Since February 2015, production has been carried out entirely and independently in-house. Every product undergoes an individual unit test, including testing of the processor and capacitor. Since May 2024, the company has been manufacturing in new premises in Waakirchen with expanded production capacities.
