About us
Schöllner Holzspielzeug is a manufacturer of wooden toys and children's furniture founded in 1985 by Roland Schöllner and based in Unterwössen in the Bavarian Chiemgau. In its own workshop, toy kitchens, grocers' shops, doll furniture, marble runs, blackboards, rocking horses and other toys are cut, manufactured, assembled and shipped to specialist retailers. Production mainly uses well-seasoned European black alder with FSC/PEFC certification; the surfaces are treated with linseed oil or waxed. Toy development takes place in-house, from idea generation through trial runs to continuous improvement. In production, the team is supported by three workshops for people with disabilities from the surrounding area. The range also includes children's furniture alongside toys and is distributed via specialist retailers.
