About us
Schönberg Kunststoffe-Verarbeitung GmbH & Co. KG was founded on 01.10.2000 in Hamburg and specialises in the processing of acrylic plastics. In addition to acrylic glass (PMMA), polycarbonate and polystyrene are also processed. Production encompasses CNC milling technology (since 2007) as well as laser technology (since 2015), plus cut-to-size work, inlay work in acrylic glass, and development, planning and consulting. The company produces one-offs and series products for shopfitting and trade fair construction, displays, technical products, the pharmaceutical industry and interior design. Together with Beiersdorf AG, a measuring instrument for determining UV absorption in creams was developed from 2001 onwards; it is based on a DIN and European standard and has been marketed worldwide since 2004. On a storage and production area of almost 750 m² in Hamburg-Schnelsen, five employees work in production, with three more responsible for sales.
