About Schöneweiss
SCHÖNEWEISS & CO GmbH is a forging company based in Hagen that specialises in the die forging of safety components and forged parts with complex geometries. The steel components produced are designed for high stress loads and impress with optimised design, ideal grain flow and robustness in continuous operation. Its main customer base is the truck industry; in addition, the company manufactures parts with special requirements for the automotive and mobility sectors. Since 2023, Schöneweiss has been part of FerrAl United, an association of ten companies from the metalworking industry, which include, among others, the die forge Schneider GmbH and Falkenroth Umformtechnik GmbH; purchasing is carried out under the joint FAU purchasing terms. In 2025, a 4.2 MW wind turbine was commissioned at the Hagen site, whose electricity is used directly for the forge.
