About SCHOKINAG

SCHOKINAG-Schokolade-Industrie GmbH was founded in 1923 in Mannheim and has been producing chocolates for the processing industry for over 100 years. The company produces dark, milk and white chocolates, couvertures, compounds and fat-based glazes in liquid and solid form, including chips for remelting, baking and decorating as well as chunks for the bakery industry. The raw materials include cocoa beans, cocoa butter and cocoa mass; since 2000 the plant has had its own cocoa processing facility. In addition to standard recipes, the R&D team develops customised recipes to customer specifications. Customers include wholesalers as well as the confectionery, bakery and ice cream industries, mainly within the European Union. Annual production capacity is 80.000 to 90.000 tonnes and is to be expanded to 100.000 tonnes. Since 2020, SCHOKINAG has belonged to the Malaysian Guan Chong Berhad (GCB) Group.
