Founded in 1969, the SCHOLLGLAS Unternehmensgruppe is a company network independent of any corporation in the flat glass sector with around 1,400 employees at 18 locations in Germany, Poland, Denmark and the Netherlands. Its range of services includes the trade in basic and specialty glasses (float glass, ESG, VSG, insulating glass, specialty and design glasses), the production of insulating glass, single-pane safety glass (ESG/ESG-H) and laminated safety glass (VSG) as well as structural glass construction including installation and the custom manufacture of sanitary mirrors (own brand Euraspiegel). Refinement processes include cutting to individual dimensions, edge grinding as well as screen and digital printing with ceramic colors. With the vacuum insulating glass GEWE Enthermal™ (technology partner LuxWall™), the group offers a highly insulating specialty solution with CE marking. Customers come from sectors such as façade and window construction, greenhouse construction, shop fitting and trade fair construction, the furniture industry, household appliances, rail, shipbuilding and special-purpose vehicle construction as well as municipal water management. The group supplies more than 5,000 customers per year and delivers just-in-time from large central warehouses with its own delivery fleet.
