Schoon Fahrzeugsysteme & Metalltechnik GmbH manufactures in Wiesmoor bodies and conversions for commercial vehicles from all leading manufacturers such as Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, MAN, Iveco, Ford, Fiat and Opel. The portfolio includes tippers and full-ALU tippers, medium- and low-dropside platforms, box bodies, low-frame chassis, machine transporters as well as vehicle outfitting for panel vans and pick-ups. The range is complemented by mobility conversions with wheelchair ramps and lifts, winter service conversions with snow ploughs and spreaders, trailer couplings with increased trailer load up to 3,500 kg, payload upgrades and e-mobility solutions for electrified vans. Manufacturing is carried out in steel and aluminium; for interiors, polypropylene panelling, plastic floor liners, polycarbonate and stainless steel are used. Frame structures are welded and hot-dip galvanized, side panels painted and lashing eyes TÜV-tested according to DIN. The bodies and conversions are produced by hand with state-of-the-art technology as single-unit production or for complete fleets - from HACCP-compliant Easy-Clean hygiene outfitting to special solutions for wind energy, glass transport and emergency services. With over 60 years of vehicle manufacturing experience and more than 65,000 converted vehicles, the company is certified as a partner of the vehicle manufacturers.
