About SchoPlast
SchoPlast Plastic GmbH is a plastics processing industry supplier based in Bischofswerda (Upper Lusatia) with a second production site in Demitz-Thumitz. The company processes thermosets and thermoplastics in compression moulding, injection moulding and injection compression moulding – including highly filled moulding compounds with mineral and glass fibre reinforcement up to 60 % as well as flame-retardant formulations. Around 75 % of production is based on thermosets, predominantly urea and phenolic resin moulding compounds. With 35 injection moulding machines (100–3.500 kN clamping force) and 75 fully automatic compression moulding presses (630–2.000 kN), approximately 240 tonnes of material are processed into over 11 million moulded parts per month at 450.000 machine hours per year. Since the integration of SchoForm in 2025, SchoPlast has had its own mould making department with CNC milling and EDM, which manufactures injection moulding and compression moulding tools entirely in-house. The range of services also includes post-processing, deburring, conditioning, pad printing and the assembly of components and assemblies for electrical installation technology, switchgear and control technology, the automotive industry, household goods, medical technology and mechanical engineering.

Quality
The quality management system has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1998 (currently ISO 9001:2015). Inspection is carried out among other things with 3D metrology, camera and laser technology, and on the tool side through internal pressure sensor monitoring; CAQ system Quipsy, SPC, PPAP Level 3, FMEA and 8D reporting are established.
