About Schotterwerk Brugger
Schotterwerk Brugger GmbH is a third-generation family company headquartered in Dürbheim in the district of Tuttlingen. From the Burghalde quarry, the company produces ballast, sand, grit, gravel and natural stone in consistently tested quality, ex works or delivered in quantities as small as 2 tonnes. Since 1998, Brugger has operated a ready-mixed concrete plant on the quarry site, in which the company's own concrete grit is processed, thus eliminating long transport routes. In addition, the company operates a landfill for excavated soil and construction rubble, processes concrete and asphalt demolition waste as well as masonry into recycled construction materials, and offers a container service with 7, 9 and 10 m³ skip containers. Its own fleet ranging from two-axle trucks to semi-trailer tractors handles bulk cargo transports. Through holdings in TBU Bad Dürrheim, its joint venture SBU, and TBW Spaichingen, Brugger is also represented in the regional ready-mixed concrete market. Customers come from the construction industry, civil engineering and landscaping in the south-west German region.
