About Schrader

Schrader (Schrader TPMS Solutions, part of Sensata Technologies) develops and manufactures tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), tire valves, sensor components, service kits and assembly/diagnostic tools. Founded in 1844 by August Schrader in New York, the company is considered the inventor of the Schrader valve, which is now used on almost every motor vehicle and bicycle, and a pioneer of direct TPMS technology used in more than half of global OEM vehicle platforms. The product range includes OE sensors, OE replacement sensors, the programmable EZ-sensor®, snap-in and clamp-in valves made of brass, anodized aluminum and rubber, as well as nickel-plated valve cores for passenger and commercial vehicles. Customer industries include automotive (OEM and aftermarket), commercial vehicles and off-road, motorcycle, industrial production, aerospace, and oil and gas. Schrader International GmbH in Ansbach is responsible for customer service, order processing and technical support in Europe; production takes place at international manufacturing sites of the Sensata group.
