About Schraubenfabrik Schmidt

Schraubenfabrik Schmidt GmbH is a manufacturer of wood screws, metric screws, sheet metal screws, chipboard screws and special screws as well as drawing and cold-formed parts. Production takes place in-house at the headquarters in Halver in the Märkischer Kreis, enabling the company to respond quickly and flexibly to individual customer requirements and custom-made products to drawing. The parts are made from steel, stainless steel, brass and aluminium; dimensions range from 2.5 to 10 mm in diameter with a maximum length of 140 mm. In addition to standard products, small batch sizes, for example from 1,000 pieces, are also produced. Products not held in stock can be manufactured and delivered within three weeks. The products are used, among other things, in trades and construction, in electronics, in white goods (household appliances) and in mechanical and automotive engineering, and are delivered throughout Europe to more than 25 countries; the export share is over 20 percent.
