Schreiber Baumaschinen is a family-owned company founded in 1933 with headquarters in Bremen that rents and sells cranes, construction machinery, construction equipment, telehandlers, containers, formwork systems, construction specialty products and consumables. As a contract partner of leading manufacturers such as Potain, Takeuchi, Merlo, Sennebogen, Schäffer and Ammann, the company offers modern equipment for civil engineering, structural engineering, landscaping and engineering construction. Its own fleet handles the delivery and pickup service for rental machinery up to 24 tonnes, and qualified fitters carry out on-site delivery and assembly. The service division covers repair, maintenance, inspection, TÜV and UVV inspections, spare parts supply, hydraulic hose service, tyre repairs and emergency call-out service on construction sites. The offering is complemented by training courses for crane operators, earthmoving machinery operators, telehandler and forklift operators as well as PSAGA instruction. Workshops, a rental park and exhibition rooms are available at the Bremen, Bremerhaven and Lüneburg locations.

- 1933
Founded by mechanical engineer Wilhelm Schreiber; trade in narrow-gauge railway tracks and locomotives.
- 1944
Severe bomb damage during the Second World War; reconstruction with used materials.
- 1951
Completion of the office building on Industriestraße.
- 1972
Death of Wilhelm Schreiber; his son Gustav-Adolf takes over the management.

Sale of the company to shareholder Gerhard Dingler.
