About Schreinerei Hartung
Schreinerei & Fensterbau Hartung is a family-run construction and furniture joinery in Ringgau-Datterode in northern Hesse, founded in 1930 as a wheelwright's shop and today run by the third generation. The focus is on the manufacture of windows and doors made of wood as well as wood-aluminium constructions with various profile systems; in addition, plastic windows, entrance doors, secondary doors, post-and-beam constructions, furniture, conservatories, interior fittings and custom-made bespoke items are produced. A particular specialty is the manufacture of heritage-conservation windows in putty-glaze look with 40° profiling on the sash. Production takes place on a Biesse WinLine 16.67 CNC multi-processing centre with loading buffer and angle machine; the PlugTec corner joint is CNC-milled in a single setup. Surface quality is ensured by planing at 8000 min⁻¹, intermediate sanding and a multi-stage Remmers surface system. Customers include prefabricated house manufacturers in Schleswig-Holstein, architects in the Hamburg area and fellow joiners; around 20% of the order volume comes from fellow joiners. Installation is carried out by the company's own team.
