About us
Schreinerei Hugo Konrad in Hausen (Aschaffenburg district) is a family business in its third generation, founded in 1928 by Alois Konrad. The complete interior fitting is manufactured to customer specifications, including commercial construction, restaurant fitting and the outfitting of banks in the region. The material used is primarily wood; production includes the manufacture and installation of fixtures and interior fittings in the company's own workshop in the Hausen industrial estate. Since November 2008, the resulting sawdust has been dried with waste heat and processed on a Ruf wood briquette press into ecological wood briquettes as an alternative fuel. A 30-kW solar system has been located on the workshop roof since 2005. The team currently consists of 3 employees; a total of twelve apprentices have been trained since the business was taken over in 1986.
