About us
The joinery Vier & Senn GmbH was founded in 2020 in Hettlingen by Philipp Vier (Swiss certified master joiner) and Pascal Senn (production specialist). In its own workshop, project-specific custom joinery solutions are manufactured: fitted and commercial kitchens, built-in cupboards, furniture, solid wood tables, doors (entrance, room, sliding, fire protection, frame and block frame doors), stairs and stair railings. In addition, floor coverings are laid and renovated (parquet, cork, laminate, vinyl including sanding, priming and water-based sealing) and terrace decking made of IPE hardwood and larch is installed. Manufacturing includes panel cutting, CNC milling and drilling, edge banding with ABS edges, laser cutting and laser engraving as well as oil surface treatment. Own products are the Mecos Boards balance boards made of waterproof-glued birch laminated wood and handcrafted handstand blocks. In addition to production, the team offers CAD planning with 3D visualization and on-site assembly, also for bathroom renovations including silicone joints.

Materials & Processes
Solid wood
For tables, furniture, stairs and doors; surface treatment with oil in selectable gloss level.
Wood-based panels (chipboard)
Are cut to size, milled/drilled on the CNC and fitted with ABS edges, e.g. for built-in cupboards.
Birch laminated wood, waterproof-glued
Gives the Mecos Boards balance boards strength and flexibility.
IPE hardwood
Ribbed surface for weather-resistant terrace decking with good grip.
Larch
Weather-resistant, inexpensive wood with rustic surface structure for outdoor terraces.
ABS edge
Applied to the panel edges after CNC machining using heat and adhesive.
Parquet, cork, laminate, vinyl
Floor coverings that are laid, sanded, primed and sealed with water-based sealant.
CNC milling and engraving
Milling, drilling and engravings/recesses of lettering and images based on DXF files.
Laser cutting and laser engraving
Since 2022 for engravings, e.g. personalization of own products.
