Schreinerie Fasswerk Hämmerle in Goldach in the canton of St. Gallen produces furniture from used oak barrels. The product range includes wine barrel bars, humidors, solid wood tables, bar furniture and tapping systems for beer and wine barrels. Only select barrique barrels from Spanish, French and Swiss wineries are used, along with FSC-certified wood, oak and cherry wood from regional trade; table legs are manufactured in-house. The barrels undergo gentle surface treatment and are professionally processed with care; the company also offers the conversion of customer-owned barrels as well as barrel rental. Via an online configurator, customers can individually combine their modules such as shelves made of oak or drawers made of cherry wood. All products are handcrafted in the company's own workshop in Goldach; an on-site showroom displays the furniture for indoor and outdoor use.
