Schröder Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH manufactures commercial vehicle bodies, semi-trailers and trailers at its Wiesmoor site as one-off builds or series production – particularly for beverage logistics, construction logistics as well as freight forwarding and works transport. The product range includes flatbed trailers, semi-trailers, tippers, special vehicles, box, sliding tarpaulin and lifting roof bodies as well as insulated temperature-controlled bodies with heating or cooling systems. The scope of services extends from concept and design through production, sandblasting and painting to maintenance, repair, inspections, vehicle rental and spare parts sales. Steel and stainless steel are used ex works; an in-house sandblasting and painting center treats vehicles and industrial parts up to 18 meters in length. In a service hall of around 2,300 m², the company operates a service center for commercial vehicles with 65 employees. The quality management system is certified to DIN ISO EN 9001; the company can look back on more than 75 years of experience in vehicle construction.
