About Schroeder Valves
Schroeder Valves is a family-owned company with a tradition spanning more than 125 years and a globally active specialist in the design and manufacture of Automatic Recirculation Valves (ARV) for the protection of centrifugal pumps. As early as 1950, Wilhelm Schroeder developed the first ARV (models GD and SD), thereby establishing a new standard for reliable pump protection. The valves combine a check valve with automatic bypass control, ensure a specified minimum flow rate at all times, and protect pumps against overheating, cavitation, vibrations and dry running. They are made from carbon steel and stainless steel, are available pressure-rated up to over 500 bar differential pressure, and every valve is customised to the customer's requirements. Each valve leaves the factory only after passing a 100% functional test with a test certificate. Applications range from power plants, nuclear power plants and the chemical and petrochemical industries to shipbuilding, offshore, LNG, hydrogen and carbon capture.
