About Schuhmacher
Schuhmacher Präzisionsdrehteile GmbH is a mid-sized family-owned company headquartered in Spaichingen (Baden-Württemberg) that manufactures precision turned parts, assemblies and complete systems as an OEM partner and Tier-X supplier. The range of services includes CNC sliding-headstock and fixed-headstock turning (bar work up to Ø 32 mm and Ø 65 mm respectively), multi-spindle and cam-controlled automatic lathes for high-volume production, CNC machining centres for complex drilling and milling operations, and fully automated CNC machining of blanks up to Ø 250 mm. Processes such as precision grinding in the µm range, laser marking, parts cleaning, assembly as well as heat treatment and surface finishing via certified partners complement the complete machining offering. Parts are produced in stainless steel, titanium alloys, tempered steel, case-hardening steel, free-cutting steel and structural steel, aluminium, brass and plastics. Customer industries include, among others, automotive, medical technology, mechanical and plant engineering, hydraulics, drive technology, aerospace, optics and the watch industry. In addition to its main plant in Spaichingen, the company has been producing in a branch plant in the Czech Republic since 2000; since 2017, Schumacher Technologies & Hydraulics GmbH has handled the trading of hydraulic components.
