About Schulte Spezial-Nietenfabrikation
Schulte Spezial-Nietenfabrikation GmbH was founded in 1839 as a smithy in Lüdenscheid and has been producing exclusively special rivets since 1946. The medium-sized family business, now in its fifth generation, manufactures solid rivets, semi-tubular rivets and tubular rivets to DIN standards or to drawing. Materials include steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper and brass; material selection is application-driven, e.g. aluminium for temperature fluctuations in aircraft construction, stainless steel for the food industry and shipbuilding, copper for conductive connections, brass for the leather industry and ship fittings, and steel for high-strength applications in the construction industry and gearbox manufacturing. Customers include automotive suppliers, the automotive industry, aircraft construction, the electrical and electrical engineering industry, and the construction industry. Customers throughout Europe and overseas are supplied from Lüdenscheid; in the event of capacity constraints, spontaneous and flexible delivery scheduling is also possible.

Materials and rivet types
Steel
High strength, e.g. as axles for wheels and castors as well as in the construction industry and gearbox manufacturing.
Stainless steel
Used in the food industry (butcher's and bakery equipment) and in shipbuilding due to its resistance to salty air.
Aluminium
Compensates strong temperature fluctuations, e.g. in air transport, and is unaffected by water vapor, also in household appliances.
Copper
Conducts heat and electricity, suitable for movable connections with intermittent current flow.
Brass
Used in the leather industry and for ship fittings.
Solid rivets
Manufacturing to DIN standard or to drawing.
Semi-tubular rivets
Manufacturing to DIN standard or to customer-specific drawing.
