SCHUMA Maschinenbau has specialized in the development and manufacture of custom conveying technology since 1980. The company designs and produces conveyor belts, steep-angle and inclined conveyor belts, roller conveyors, chain conveyors, steel plate belts as well as parts management concepts for separating, distributing and quality assurance, such as separating drums, sprue sorting devices, attachment separators, diverter flaps and sorting chutes. The portfolio is complemented by container concepts for buffering, stacking and distributing, including rotary tables, container buffer systems and container stacking systems in linear, rotary and multi-level designs as well as custom concepts. In addition to conveying technology, SCHUMA implements complete automation solutions, from parts feeding to full integration into production lines. The team includes more than six trained design engineers who realize complex customer projects. With around 50 employees, the company serves industries such as plastics, metal, food, medical/pharmaceutical, paper industry and plastics recycling, and offers design, spare parts service and machine installation.
