About us

SCHUMACHER Elektromechanik GmbH is a family-owned company based in Munich, now in its third generation, offering electronics development and production. The focus is on power supplies for lasers in industrial, medical and scientific applications. Manufacturing includes SMD and THT assembly of circuit boards including multilayer, rigid-flex and flex boards, cable assembly, handcrafted special transformer construction with vacuum potting, as well as final assembly and final inspection. In addition, the mechanical department produces stamped sheet metal, drilled holes, bends and custom assemblies. The company supports customers from the initial idea through prototyping, sample production and testing to series production, and also offers contract manufacturing. Production is ESD-compliant and has been certified to DIN EN ISO 13485 by TÜV Süd since 2017. Customers include companies from laser technology, medical technology, communications technology and microelectronics such as Prolas, Hüttinger and KLS Martin.
