About Schumm Beton

Schumm Betonwerk in Crailsheim-Satteldorf was founded in 2023 by the brothers Alexander and Fabian Schumm and emerged from the long-established Johann Heumann quarry and crushed-stone plant, whose expertise of over 100 years the company draws upon. Production comprises ready-mixed concrete in strength classes C 8/10 to C 30/37, single-size-aggregate concrete for water-permeable base layers, and smooth screed; on request also concrete block cubes and special mixes. Production takes place on a modern CBT 60 SL concrete mixing plant from Elba directly at the site, with raw materials sourced from the company's own quarry. Customers include construction companies in structural and civil engineering as well as DIY enthusiasts: small quantities from 200 liters can be collected without appointment, larger quantities are delivered to the construction site by truck mixer. The planned expansion of the crushed-stone plant secures the long-term supply of raw materials for the region.
