About Schuran Seawater Equipment

Schuran Seawater Equipment B.V. manufactures custom-made acrylic aquariums, filter systems and life support systems as well as industrial plastic components. The company's origins lie in plastics processing: thermoplastics are processed using deep-drawing machines, simultaneous 5-axis CNC milling machines and 3-axis machining. Thick-walled acrylic glass (Plexiglas GS) is thermally formed; in addition, architectural concrete tanks are produced including coating and glazing in compact construction. The product range includes protein skimmers (Aquaflotor), calcium reactors, ozone reactors and nitrate filters for saltwater and freshwater. Customers come from zoos and aquariums, water technology, research institutes, medical technology, automotive engineering as well as the private sector. Projects are realized in-house – from 3D CAD design through engineering, manufacturing, test assembly and quality inspection to installation, commissioning and stocking. Production and company headquarters are located in Aalsmeer (Netherlands).
