About SCHURTER
SCHURTER is a Swiss technology company headquartered in Lucerne that develops, manufactures and distributes electronic components, input systems (HMI) and complete electronic solutions. The portfolio includes circuit protection (fuses, fuse holders, circuit breakers), appliance connectors, switches, EMC products such as power line and chassis-mount filters, high-voltage fuses for electric vehicles and supercapacitors. In the HMI field, SCHURTER manufactures PCAP touchscreens, resistive touchscreens, capacitive switches, membrane keypads as well as complete operating systems with glass printing, lamination and optical bonding in-house. Manufacturing features a high level of in-house production depth, including several plastic injection moulding plants, a punch shop, an in-house electroplating facility, cleanrooms for touchscreen production and a print shop; the company also offers EMS services, cable assembly and enclosure systems. With over 20'000 standard products, SCHURTER supplies industries such as industrial electronics, industrial automation, medical technology, automotive, aerospace, energy technology and rail technology via distribution networks in around 60 countries. The family-owned company, founded in 1933 with roots as a limited partnership, employs over 1500 people and generated revenue of around CHF 230 million in 2024.
