About us
Schwald Automatisierung GmbH (SWDAG) supports machine builders and industrial companies in the planning and implementation of automation and electrical engineering projects. The service portfolio includes EPLAN engineering with standards-compliant circuit diagrams and documentation, PLC programming for Siemens and CoDeSys Alliance systems such as Beckhoff, and visualization with Siemens WinCC Advanced and WinCC Unified. In its own control cabinet construction department, the company manufactures cabinets to plan including wiring and testing, accompanied by on-site commissioning with instruction and handover. Another focus is machine safety: risk assessments, safety concepts with the design of safety-related functions (PL, SIL), and support with the EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230. In the area of retrofit, SWDAG modernizes existing control systems by replacing outdated hardware and software and retrofits safety functions. The six-person team serves industries ranging from machine and plant engineering to automotive, logistics and food through to pharmaceuticals, medical technology, metal, energy and building technology.
