About Schwamborn Sondermaschinen

Schwamborn Sondermaschinen GmbH develops and manufactures complete special-purpose systems for handling technology, assembly technology, testing technology and automation – every machine is designed from the ground up and engineered for the customer's specific task. The range of services extends from feeding with vibratory conveyors and camera sorting to positioning and handling with servo axes and industrial robots, transport and transfer systems (linear indexing, rotary indexing) through to automated packaging. For assembly, screwdriving (torque- and displacement-monitored), welding (contact, resistance and laser welding), clipping/pressing with pneumatic, hydro-pneumatic and servo presses, riveting and gluing are implemented. In addition, manual workstations, semi-automatic and fully automatic machines as well as integrated test systems for presence, leak-tightness, torque, actuation force, flow rate and dimensional accuracy are created. Design and control cabinet construction are kept in-house; the group of companies includes Schwamborn Systeme as a sales partner of the MayTec aluminium profile technology and manufacturer of the Ergomont workstation systems. The company was founded in 1986 as an engineering office and is based at its headquarters in Lindlar in the Bergisches Land region.

Quality

The test systems are seamlessly integrated into the manufacturing or assembly process and perform sensory and optical inspections for presence, completeness, leak-tightness, torque, actuation force, flow rate and dimensional accuracy. In addition, quality assurance includes the functional check of the special-purpose machine as a whole before handover.
