The SCHWENK Baustoffgruppe is one of the oldest family-owned companies in the German building materials industry. The company combines its divisions Cement, Concrete, Sand & Gravel, Pumping and Circular Economy into a continuous value chain – from the extraction of sand, gravel and chippings, through cement production, to concrete and specialty building material production. Focus areas include clinker-reduced cements, concretes with improved sustainability properties, concretes with recycled aggregates, as well as Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and CSC certification. The offering is complemented by construction consulting, delivery, concrete pumping services, building material recycling and a technology centre. The group operates domestically and runs, among others, plants in Achstetten and Allmendingen as well as a technology centre in Bernburg.
