About Dew Point Ventilation

Dew Point Ventilation is a brand of Schwille Elektronik Produktions- und Vertriebs GmbH, founded in 1972 by Werner Schwille. The company produces digital built-in and control instruments as well as dew-point-controlled ventilation controllers that ventilate rooms only when the outside air is able to absorb moisture. As a result, basements, garages, laundry and drying rooms, wine cellars, conservatories, offices, classrooms as well as churches and listed buildings are automatically dehumidified and protected against mould. With basement drying, the company pioneered dew-point ventilation control in 2014; the ventilation controller Type 100-720 was tested by the Bavarian Association for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning and was awarded the Gold Medal (Federal Prize) by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. For the radon ventilation Type 100-690, radioactivity is measured by means of an alpha radiation sensor; if a threshold value is exceeded, ventilation is activated. In addition, the company offers CO2-controlled ventilation for offices and classrooms as well as customer service and support.
