Schwörer Fertigbad-Systeme is a business division of SchwörerHaus GmbH & Co. KG and develops, produces and delivers prefabricated bathrooms in modular construction for hotels, residential buildings, nursing homes and senior facilities, clinics as well as student and micro-apartments. The bathrooms are designed by in-house specialist engineers using 3D software and industrially prefabricated at the Ahrensfelde/Berlin site by around 150 employees – including integrated building services such as heating circuit distributors, hot water stations and electrical sub-distribution boards. After a prototype bathroom, series production takes place with integrated quality management as well as LEAN and shopfloor organisation; annual capacity is approx. 2,000 bathrooms. The modules are delivered just-in-time and positioned millimetre-precisely in the shell construction in approx. 20 minutes. With more than 34,000 prefabricated bathrooms realised, the company is one of the leading manufacturers in the industry; as the first company it bears the RAL quality mark 621 for prefabricated rooms. The Schwörer Group was founded in 1950, is represented at 7 sites and generates an annual revenue of around €320 million.
